His clothes are a third load; clothes that were one white and possibly might be white again someday. It’s why I don’t wear white clothes.

I’ll wash those in a seperate load after the rest.

Wouldn’t think Zoe would touch any of Hammie’s ‘whites’, aka – underwear, even with a ten foot grab stick.

Pre-soak: Mom has a 20 gallon pot over a propane burner and a laundry stirring paddle in the backyard. Heat to a slow rolling boil, add oxidizing bleach, and stir every 10 minutes until soft. Drain and repeat.

Darrell knows how to use the washing machine? So funny, but my best friend and I were just talking yesterday about our husbands not knowing how to operate the washing machine and dryer; they now have all sorts of buttons and functions and sometimes even I have to go to the owner manual! LOL

Based on raising teenagers, the advice I would give is: add baking soda.
