    Good Friday Good Vagabonds

I saw 33 upon the thermometer this morning, mostly cloudy although the sun did manage to find a hole in the clouds briefly. The forecast said something about snow showers, I don’t see nothing coming down, partly cloudy by the afternoon, high 44.

Welp, it’s Friday, head out for Newport/ Derby looking for next weeks eats and Sunday dinner.

OK, got a list to make and get ready for the trip. Have a really nice day Vagabonds, may the Lord be right by your side.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Yesterday turned out exactly as predicted. We never even opened the front door until Michael checked to see that the security screen was locked before going to bed. I got a couple more rows done on the rug and managed to read an entire book in one sitting. Michael was watching “The Wizard of Oz” and I kept glancing up once in a while. That movie is so familiar that I could almost “hear” the songs and dialog even though the sound was only in his hearing aids.

We both have the ability to connect our hearing aids via blue tooth to the audio from the TV. They are not tied to the volume on the TV, so we can hear everything but the set itself is silent. We’re so used to it that when Mike comes over to watch the hockey games, he has to remind us to turn up the sound. The beauty of it is that we have heard dialog we’ve never heard before from some things we’ve watched multiple times. You can hear the little mumbled asides or things that folks in the background are saying and are sometimes astonished at what’s being said.

We’re mostly cloudy again today. As Mark said, I can see a hole in the clouds with a bit of blue peeking through. The high is supposed to be 50 today with a very slight chance of rain from those big grey things.

    Everyone have a blessed day.
