A story dad told me one time, He was looking after the evaporator at a sugar house. It was lunch time and he and the horse was eating, dad had a sandwich and drink and the horse was eating oats from his feed bag, crunch, crunch, crunch, then suddenly the crunching stopped. Dad looked up to see the horse looking down the road, his eyes and ears were focused on something, but he finally decided it was ok and went back to crunching his oats. Try to get that skidder or tractor to look out for things that might not be right.
Well, got to get my list going so I can get the groceries this morning. Newport/Derby, here I come.

It’s a grand good morning around here too. High clouds And 70 degrees. We missed yesterday’s forecast by about 4, but I’m not complaining. It was still a beautiful day.
My doctor visit went as planned. Meet and greet mostly. She did switch one of my meds though. The old one didn’t seem to be doing anything.
My BP is now back under control since I restarted the pill I had stopped. Whew!!!
My computer refuses to connect to the internet so I’m doing this one finger on my tablet. Slow going.
We will head over to the hockey rink this afternoon to get the tickets for the “Jedi Knight” game on the 9th. Then we will go out for our Friday date. Then back home for a game on AHL TV.
