My grandmother, never believed we went to the moon despite the evidence. Growing up with horse drawn transportation then seeing rockets go to the moon, was quite a comprehension stretch for her.

In 1969 NASA had (just barely) the technology to get a man onto the moon. What they DIDN’T have was the technology to FAKE a landing.
