Years ago, I read a strip similar to this in which a doctor tells a patient he’s taking her off her lettuce and carrot diet. She had the head of a rabbit.

And he seems quite cocky about it, too.

The early George gets the worm.

Maybe he’s eating too many eggs… Gas em up.

It’s OK. George and Dawn are married.

Plumbers take very early appointments…..

George is in a fowl mood again.

Big the jumbo eggs are a plus.

He accomplishes everything he points his beak at.

It’s unfair that only roosters are allowed to wake up screaming.
