So not funny at all. Children suffer because of adults “taking a different direction” but there are lots of legitimate reasons for a divorce. Most involve on spouse being utterly selfish and having an affair, or being abusive, or using drugs, or such things as that. But why this comic mocks the pain children have is beyond me.
That’s the good news. Next the kid will be informed that he’s no longer relevant and has become a redundant liability given the new direction the family is taking.
And you will blame yourself for the rest of your life. But have more Christmas and Birthday gifts to look forward to. The cards with snarky comments about the other parent will be priceless.
