I’m with Treggie. If its a left turn arrow and the first slows the second who slows the third, by the time it gets further down, the light changes before everyone gets to go. Irritating.

But you should pause when the light turns green.

If she wouldn’t have been distracting her she would have had the song picked out and been ready.

Memories of driving in Italy – a millisecond after the light turned green, everyone in line laid on their horns!

You’re supposed to be glued to your phone because cars are the new phone booths, it seems.

New York Millisecond: the time between when the light changes and the drivers in line start to hit their horns.

Shortest measured time. From when light turns green and horn behind honks. Downtown Montréal any hour

I’m not sure this applies elsewhere, but it’s certainly true in Kalifornistan:

    What is a nanosecond?

It is the time between the light turning green and the guy behind you blowing his horn.

She knows she can always rely on the people behind to let her know when the light turns green.

The reason the growing impatience with green light appearing is because too many people are focused on cellphones that are not to be used while driving . Same idiots on cellphones can’t get it thru their heads that only when parked on side of road is considered “not driving” .
