My living room drapes “puddle” a bit on the floor; one is close to a heat register. Iggy likes to lie on the register with the curtain around him — secret hiding place!
It is a very mysterious place, especially for kittens. When Colette was a kitten, we played shred-the-shower-curtain-liner. It’s a noisy game which involves me poking and her striking with full claws. When she got older, she went on to adult entertainment (by which I mean hunting). I bought new, expensive shower curtains.
However, even today, if she is in the bathroom and I accidentally brush up against the shower curtain, she gets that savage look in her eye. I know that if I gave the word, that shower curtain would be toast. :)

Our big, fluffy cow-cat hides there, too. He wasn’t too happy when I didn’t see him and turned on the shower.

He’s not as predictable as he thinks he is.
