Curly still carries around an old comb. He just can’t part with it.

Because that is how Nicknames work ;-)

Yeah, nicknames stick with you into adulthood even when they’re a cutesie nickname. My Godmother used her nickname for me until the day she dies. She was the only person that I allowed to use it and other than memories, it went to the grave with her.

Nothing like a move across the country to shed nicknames.

There are sarcastic nicknames. The three stooges “Curly” for example.

I resemble that remark.

There will always only be one Curly!

Some hair remains and it’s probably curly. :)
