Great kneejerk reaction there Herb. I feel you would have a hard time finding a golf club that excluded someone because of race or religion these days. Now when you talking about what they charge in dues, yeah that will exclude a lot of people period.
Groucho Marx said it best many years ago. He was denied membership to a golf club because he was a Jew. When people voiced their displeasure, the country club decided to allow him to join. He simply said “I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member.”
