Mocha always loved whatever book was on the back of the couch. A perfect place to rest his chin.

Get some clothes from the thrift store, and cover the books you already have.

My girls are far more interested in my shoes when I come inside, especially if it’s been damp outside. Their favorite thing though is if I happen to get a leaf stuck to my shoe! They wont go outside, thankfully, but they love the smells of outside.

My cats ignore books. They don’t move well. Monroe loves the Sakuraco boxes I get every month from Tokyo. I swear, whoever packs my box must be cat-owned.

My cats don’t care for books. I’m culling my books right now, and the only interest they have is that they are taking up boxes they could be sleeping in.

My cats do love me and books. As soon as I pick one up, they HAVE to be on my lap. Best cat call ever.

While working freelance doing computer support, I was called to the home of a woman who owned the local bookstore. In her house, on every horizontal surface was a short stack of books. On every other stack of books, there was a cat.

She told me, “When I was young I always dreamed of owning a bookstore. Now I dream of selling a bookstore.”
