Where did THAT loser get the money for such a high dollar safe ??

It could be of some monetary value? Now that would be lucky.

How can a penny be lucky? It doesn’t care what happens to it.

I knew someone who believed if you found a penny, face up, it was lucky and she’d take it. If it was face down, she’d turn it over and leave it for the next person.

I recall once hearing about a zillionaire who had an elaborate safe system installed in the master bedroom, into which he put nothing whatever. All the valuable jewelry got stashed under the false bottom of a drawer in a kitchen cupboard, on the theory that robbers would get so fixated on trying to break into the safe that they’d never think to look there.
