In real life, food should never be a reward for little children or even adults, for that matter. A kid should be able to have a cookie whenever he or she feels like eating one, yes even before dinner, and no it won’t “spoil” his dinner.
No wonder there are so many fat and grossly obese children in the USA!!! When they get to that stage that they use food as a reward, they don’t have any idea about self- control.
It makes me sick to see these kids waddle, as they can’t ever muster a jog or a run, when they are outside in the park, when I’m there with my grandchildren…
In my day, yes my day, there never were any such overweight kids, never mind adults. Just check group photos at large events in newspaper archives, there are never any grossly overweight children, or adults in those pictures.

So Hammie wasn’t assigned any homework, passed an empty dishwasher, and decided to go for the cookie.

First, check his room and the dishwasher. If clean and empty, check the rest of the property for trash and clean dishes.

What happened? We had one more day of Neanderthal Hammie (today) to go and the repercussions of the (cave) wall art.

If he’s not really theirs, maybe they’ll be able to go ahead and keep him anyway. Seems like a good trade.
