He doesn’t want to help open it. He wants to help EMPTY it.

It’s so funny to watch them eat it……….

Besides…that jar wouldn’t even qualify as a “snack” for you, Marm!

He also wants a chance to ‘whip’ that humongous tongue around the interior of the jar ! ! ! !

But can you eat the whole jar in one go?

Gee! Marm only wants to help! Give him some praise for that, anyway.

they did a strip on him and Peanut Butter in the 70’s Synder gave to him to make him stop barking, classic and it worked.

“Open”, yes. But Marm can smooth out the top of the PB so it looks like it’s a fresh jar, ever time.

Smooth Marm, real smooth!

Marm, knows you don’t need any help opening the jar …… just wishes you’d open it a bit faster ……. :)
