Apply for unemployment and maybe a bit of welfare. Though as a Conservative I don’t believe in the latter, it’s very difficult to look for work if you have the added stress of worry about running out of money. Being able to pay rent and put food on the table will alleviate those worries so you can concentrate more fully on finding a job.
In Canada, saying you are a “Conservative”, means you are a member of the “Conservative Party” and all you do is screw the public. They used to be called the “Progressive Conservative Party”. Talk about an oxymoron.
