“bring him to the bathroom” would be correct if the the two grandparents were IN the bathroom and teh kid was in the living room. Since they aren’t, “take him to the bathroom” would be more correct.

Now that everyone has that straight, let’s talk about adverbs; Americans don’t know they exist! “I done real good” … Nope! I did REALLY well. “He eats real fast” … Nope!He eats REALLY fast. Pogo’s typing is atrocious!" YesPogo types atrociousLY. Yes!His dog is a quick learner. Yes.His dog learns very QUICKLY! Yes.

The test will be on Friday! Have a good day!

I just figured that “bring him” instead of “take him” was a Canadian thing.

When my mom was pregnant with my youngest sister, since was on the older side to be so, we had a cleaning woman who came in weekly to help her so she did not have as much work to do. My mom made some comment about the cleaning woman “taking” something meaning that something was brought elsewhere in the house and mom needed it back. The woman was terribly upset. She did not “take things”; she is honest. To her “take” specifically meant “steal”. Mom assured her that was not what was meant at all.
