I asked about this at the Atlanta Aquarium last month. The attendant said they try to keep the sharks fed well enough that they don’t go on a feeding frenzy. Still, in another tank, there are about six sharks and an ever-circling bait ball of smaller fish.

If it wasn’t for the glass, you would be gasping for breath…

If I’m not mistaken sharks are not interested in human flesh as long as there’s something tastier available.

No, “drowning” in air, more likely.

And here the aquarium personnel thought things were going along swimmingly.
