I had a part-time job from which I got “Downsized”. They told me that it would probably be temporary. While they were correct that it was temporary and they asked me to come back, in the meantime I had gotten a full-time job in the industry I had gone to school for. That Company actually sent a guy to my Apartment to offer me the job! Then a couple of months later my previous Employer asked me back. I have to say, I was feeling pretty good that they were vying for me! ☺
