It’s easy to go blasting planets whose rulers you don’t like, but if the inhabitants aren’t ready to stand up and fight for themselves you’re stuck babysitting them for the next couple of hundred millennia.

After reading this yesterday I picked up on a discussion of “The City of Tomorrow” which is considered a top Star Trek Episode. QUESTION- What was the name of the episode where the Star Trek found a primitive civilization that were about to kill Kirk and crew when Kirk could suddenly read the “Holy Words” ‘We the People …’ I searched through the episode list but couldn’t spot it.

Lee, I think the episode you talked about yesterday was “City on the Edge of Forever”. It’s about Kirk, and Spock, going back in time to fix the timeline that McCoy altered. I don’t remember an episode called “The City of Tomorrow”…. Um, and thanks, btw, for pushing my Trek nerd button…..

I think there’s a quote somewhere about history repeating itself because no one will listen . . .

Thanks to all the veterans out there . . .
