HA! My grandmother used to play Englebert Humperdinck in the car while we were driving around! It was kinda funny riding around in a car with a bunch of adolescent girls (my cousins) and an old lady belting out “A Man Without Love”. Ah . . . the memories . . . :)
I remember seeing TV ads for EH albums in the ’70s; that was my only exposure to his music. The only song from the ad that stuck in my mind was “Please Release Me.”
