After a point, persistence will break you. And you won’t be persistent any more.

This actually worked for me. I remember when I handed the guy my application the guy stuck it away in a big file full of applications. I went back the next day, told him I really needed the job and he hired me on the spot.

The idea in the cartoon transcends work. You don’t want to be a pest anywhere.
