I do not pray for God to fix the problems of the world. He does not work that way.
I pray that he give us the resolve, collectively, to fix the problems. We can stop war and cure hunger and right many of the evils of this world; we just do not have the collective will to do so. There are enough selfish people in the world to keep evil going.
The Gospel according to me is, “Selfishness is the root of all evil.” Selfishness, not hate is the antithesis of love.
The reason this doesn’t look like the Kingdom of God is that we haven’t all done our jobs.
