This is of course a reference to Mars Needs Women, a science fiction film made for TV from 1967. Nevertheless, in 2007 (?) Berkeley Breathed published a book, Mars Needs Moms!, which in 2011 was made into a movie that unfortunately didn’t do well (though apparently the story is superb).
Does that “galactic love slave” seem conflicted? She allows Portnoy and Opus to capture her without much effort, then tells Cutter Emperor John that this isn’t “progressive” for the ’80s. Was BB scamming us?
It might not be very progressive but, for some guys, it may be the only way they’ll ever get a ‘concubine’. BTW, if they were this politically correct back in the late 80’s, just imagine how bad they’d be today!
