“Carries 129 known diseases”? Give credit where it’s due. Cockroaches, Blattella cucaracha, can spread filth and cause a dandy allergy or two, but they do not vector any known diseases. They just want to sleep in your ear.
I saw a piece on TV many years ago that claimed that roaches are as clean as their environment. If you have a clean kitchen, you’ll have clean roaches. (I’d rather not test that idea.)
