So it’s not just a mistake?

Those must be the 2 dogs that live in the apartment above mine.

“I’m barking because you’re barking.”“Well I’m barking because you’re barking.”

“It’s quiet out there. Too quiet. Let’s bark at nothing so every dog for miles will start barking, too.”

At that point, the lazy dog owners will start shouting at their dogs instead of reinforcing proper discipline. When you shout at a dog that it barking, it can think you are barking along with it.

Barbara Woodhouse had a long-running dog training show on UK television for many years. She could train any dog in about five minutes; it took the rest of the show to train the owners. :)

Sometimes it just feels good to get it out of your system.

It’s a Shih Tzu thing.

Love it! We had one who would go outside and stand on the patio. She’d listen a minute and then she’d give two or three short barks, then listen again to see who’d answer. It sounded for all the world like a doggy chat. “Hi! Suzette here. Who else is out now?”
