Wait, what? Just today at lunch I learned that you can get a concussion from being hit in the chin and now it happened to you? I’m so sorry, it’s all my fault! (A friend’s vet tech got hit by a big dog waking up suddenly from anesthesia and was concussed.)
See, all that exercise stuff bad for you! And for us, we’ll miss you. Recover quickly!
I was interviewed on behalf of a coworker who was hoping to get her security clearance renewed. They ask a lot of questions. They asked about “outside activities” and I mentioned that she teaches pole dancing. I completely forgot she spends pretty much all day Sunday volunteering at her church. :-/
I kept getting injured while exercising until I discovered low-impact exercises. My fave is the Guiness Pint Lift. It needs to done smoothly (points off for spillage) with rests in between each Lift, so that your elbow isn’t over stressed. Do as many as needed until the pain stops. Rest until your legs are able to support you again, and repeat. I’m not sure if my physical fitness has improved much, but I don’t care, since my stress levels are now practically nonexistent. Hope you feel better soon. Those Blackwings won’t sharpen themselves!
OUCH! The Pain!. But if this comic is ever collected into a book, I hope there will also be these panels explaining the author’s misadventures. They’re hilarious.

There are WAY too many ways the body can get messed up. And you had deserved a break from all that! Wait…I shouldn’t use the word break!

How often can you say you had to take time off work from a pole dancing injury? Do it while you can.

I feel like saying, If you didn’t have bad luck, you’d have no luck at all”. But I’ll hold back because that would be insensitive…

In real life, unlike cartoons, you can’t recover from a head injury by getting hit on the head again. Get well soon.

Take care of yourself. Blessings.Brisk walks in a good pair of running shoes would probably be better. But not as funny.

Skydiving, Petunia. Focuses the mind terrifically, for a minute. All your problems seem so far away :)
