I recall in express lanes where someone had 20 of an item, and they’d consider it all one item, usually have multiples of everything.

The express lanes are all gone in our area.

I usually shop once a month at the supermarket ( fresh meat fish, veggies & fruit are purchased from vendors, as needed ) so I rarely have use of the Express Line.

Recently, as I stood in line with my full cart of stuff, there was a woman behind me with only a few items in her shopping cart. I politely pointed out to her that the Express Lane was open and there was no waiting line. She responded, “Oh no, I can’t go there. The sign says ’10 Items or Less” and I have eleven!"

Clever. The complainer has egg on his face.

Another arrogant, entitled egghead! The yolks are on him!
