There is nothing wrong with your sisters dance recital Hammie, that a freshly waxed floor couldn’t fix. It will also provide much needed comic relief.

May as well get used to it, Hammie. There will be many more of these types of outings that you will have to attend during your life and that will bore the pants off you.

Only been dragged to one dance recital – I remember focusing on a single balloon decoration and tried to make it pop using only my mind. It didn’t work

Dance and gymnastics recitals beat musical ones – more entertaining, less painful. Strings recitals are especially uncomfortable. Oy! the screeching! Make it stop!

Part of the pain may be that he’s being forced to wear a collared shirt and sweater! I don’t think I’ve ever seen him in anything like that before.

I feel you, Hammie. But try counting ceiling tiles or something rather than wrecking the dance recital.
