Some churches begin every Sunday worship service with someone (the pastor or another worship leader) saying, “He is risen!” or “Christ is risen!” Congregants/attendees respond with “He is risen, indeed!” or “Christ is risen, indeed!” – often followed with an “Alleluia!”
Lots and lots of Christian churches will at least do this memorial call-and-response on Resurrection (Easter) Sunday. Many congregations do it on Sundays throughout the entire Easter season (which goes from Easter Sunday to Pentecost Sunday – the 50th day of Easter – 49 days after Easter).
