You just know that Dill would be the one left holding up the planet when Alice got bored.
Alice. stop the world, I want to get off the ride.
Hence volcanos and earthquakes
Australia? Mine! (All that beachfront property!)

When Hercules was getting the apples of the Hesperides, he temporarily took the Earth on his shoulders while Atlas fetched them for him.
Maybe Alice could get Dillcules to hold the Earth for her. But it wouldn’t be temporary.
Atlas tricked Hercules into holding up the Earth for a while.
not to be pedantic but he didn’t hold up the earth, he held up the celestial spheres, so more or less the sky.
Atlas didn’t really care for that job, though. He tried to get out of it once.
He held it up, Alice. That doesn’t mean he owned it.
I love that there’s food all around Alices plate
DAD!!! way to puncture your child’s sense of optimism….
Actually, Atlas was sentenced to holding up the sky.
I miss Richard Thompson…..

Ya know, it kinda makes sense, what with all the earthquakes and volcanos exploding. I mean, who does that remind you of? Maybe Alice is the offspring of Atlas and Mother Nature; her stork delivery to the Otterloops was simply a clerical error.
