Too bad they don’t. I’m rather short and I hate it when some tall person sits in front of me and I have to crane my neck for hours! And let’s not forget people who talk during a movie and seem to think no one else can hear them. When you tell them to shhhhhh, they give you the stink eye!

Not an issue anymore, haven’t been to a movie the past few years which had more than a handful of people in the seats.

I prefer to watch ANYTHING and EVERYTHING in the privacy of my own “theater” (living room), on an 82" TV. Streaming, purchasing, DVD…whatever. I’ve got the best seats in the house and can pause the movie to go to the bathroom or make popcorn.

Movies are so poorly lit and the sound is so bad that it’s impossible to watch them in a theater. At home I can turn the brightness up and Closed Captions on. Actually, I rarely watch movies anymore.

We were in a movie theater recently and they had 2 armrests for every seat. No hogging or sharing involved.

My wife and I don’t go to the movies very much anymore, but we saw a couple (Barbie and Oppenheimer) a few months ago. At 6’5", I often have a problem with the tight seating in some of the older theaters. The newer ones, with the large seats that recline and provide plenty of leg room, are an absolute delight — but I still try not to waste too much money on the horrendously overpriced candy and drinks.
