    Cute, except the MAD cover should have been in front not back as I recall.I know, I know that was so we could see what it was. (Was I a MAD reader? Pf course. Hubby would bring them home from the first one.)

    As I have mentioned on Red and Rover and Wallace the Brave, today is the fourteenth anniversary of my Mum’s death. Sadly, she died exactly two months before the day which would have been her eighty-fourth birthday. She also died in the year which would have been her sixtieth wedding anniversary. My Dad died in 2020 so I like you believe that they are together again.

    Red and Rover is a strong contender for my third favourite comic strip after my two clear favourites Calvin and Hobbes and Andy Capp. Red is my favourite comic strip redhead. He and Rover have a much closer relationship than Ginger and Mike. Of course, this is because Ginger has another pet and more human friends.
