TV: The National Pork Board would like to remind you self-righteous, holier-than-thou, beef-eatin' snobs that there's never ever been a single case of "mad pig" disease. Pork: The other white meat, bee-yotch!
The beauty of this comic is that it was 5 years before the workers at a pork plant got some disease/infection/medical problem from pig brains. At least vegetarians can now call all the meat eaters bee-yotch.
Anybody seen such diseases coming from a backyard garden or a farmers’ market? For that matter, from a tiny ‘raw milk’ producer?Yet raw milk is illegal in CA unless you are a member of the ‘club’ — weird!Set a quart of raw milk on the counter (capped if you like) and a quart of the Pasteurized stuff. Which one gets nasty first? The one that’s not alive.

As I near 60, I’m beginning to call my meat eating friends in the hospital and call on them in the funeral parlor.
