You know, if someone says “Would you like some advice?” I’ll usually say “Sure, tell me.” What bugs me is people who immediately give their advice in a way that makes it clear they don’t care whether you want to hear it!

It’s true. I used to be a “storage consultant” and had to abandon that profession… people don’t react well to “shove it up your a**…” :P

You can advise someone all you want, but most of the time they will do their own thing anyway!

Almost as bad as those who feel like they have the right to shove their religion down everyone’s throat (while they argue that their beliefs REQUIRE them to proselytize).

If you expect me to listen to you ramble on about Jesus, then you have to listen to me lecture you on Darwin.

Usually, free advice is worth just that. Everyone needs to evaluate their situation and solutions, because no one else knows all the details. Besides that, you are the one who has to deal with the consequences and take responsibility for your own actions.
