Riley: We've been walking for ten minutes and haven't passed one subway stop, ball court, Chinese carry-out place or rib shack!
Huey: Riley, we are pilgrims in an unholy land...
I’ve always wondered what the “revolution” was all about. Now I know! To bring subway stops, ball courts, Chinese carry-out places and rib shacks to the masses!! I’m all in!
I lived in Chicago for the first 25 years of my life and been in the ’burbs for the last 30. I STILL miss walking down a the street to the bus stop, el station, finding everything near by. Yeah, I have 4 strip malls within walking distance, but, believe me, the pace of the ’burbs is a lot faster than the city. People move at a different pace, walking is a necessity, not an exercise.
