Oh my…..

Charlotte’s web will never seem the same…lol.

The spider pulled something on the pork.

This is why I hate spiders.

Charlotte was a little passive-aggressive.

Next time, don’t call her an “eight-legged freak”. She’s sensitive… and vengeful.

I’m having a bacon and tomato sandwich for dinner tonight.

And,just maybe,the most important ingredient: *MAYO*‼️ Gobs and gobs of it‼️

“Lola, true love is the greatest thing in the world, except for a nice P.L.T. A pork, lettuce, and tomato sandwich when the pork is nice and lean and the tomato is ripe. They’re so perky.”

Maybe a scene from the first draft of the book, then E.B. White decided to take the story in a different direction?

I recall that in the actual book, Templeton brought Charlotte the word “crispy,” and she had to ask him to try again. Glad she had more sense than the one depicted here.

Has it occurred to anyone that the web-spinner is Lola, using the fake web stuff they sell at Halloween? Bet she’s looking forward to her BLT.
