And what’s going to happen to the poor people walking in the woods and come home saying, “I’m telling you, I saw a whole bunch of rabbits in a tree! I swear!”
When husband and I were looking at houses to buy (around 35 years ago) we dealt with a huge number of local realtors-real estate agents as it took us about 2 years to find (and settle for) this house which had basically what we wanted but it located on a 4 lane main road.
One of them was from a real estate firm called Magnus Moneta. (Looked them up before I posted the name to make sure they no longer exist.) The woman who showed us the houses from them seemed to always have forgotten some detail about the house which was the opposite of what we said we wanted. As in “I thought it had a second bathroom” or “I thought it had a basement”. She chewed gum constantly. As a result we still refer to her as “Mrs. Magnus Moneta bubble gum”.

A rather squirrelly realtor.

Sorry to sneak this in here, but no one’s allowed to comment for good or ill over at 9 Chickweed Lane, and I absolutely adored today’s strip!

These squirrels remind me of her.
