Dean’s look of shock at the storm cloud in panel three is priceless. LOL!

This feels like an Ernie Bushmiller joke, if Sluggo ever went to a bar.

If it’s American beer, then it’s tough to tell the difference.

Hugh B. Hayve and coltish 1, come on up to the Pacific Northwest if you want to try some great American beers. We have almost as many brew pubs as coffee shops and they brew a wide selection from porters to IPAs that are absolutely wonderful.

    Cleokaya,

Such a gracious invitation - I accept! We in the Denver area have quite a few brewpubs producing some delicious product, and I’m sure the same is true in your neck of the woods.

I’m pretty sure Hugh was referring to the mass-produced swill that’s popular in the U.S.

@hugh – “If it’s American beer, then it’s tough to tell the difference.”

Whoa, whoa Hugh. I’ll be damned if you talk smack about Pabst and Billy Beer!

Of course I was talking about the mass produced stuff coltish1. Turnbloom, I’ll put our Labatt’s and Molson up against that stuff any day of the week (Billy Beer? is that still selling? Billy Carter must be a billionaire by now). Cleokaya, I have many friends that live in Wash. state, I will question them further about these brew pubs and where they think they get off keeping the good beer for themselves and not sharing it with the rest of us.

@Hugh – Nope, Pabst beats them all! It has the blue ribbon.

(Dear Osiris, I hope you folks know I’m kidding!)

Beer and water? Whatever happened to beer and a shot? Dean needs to get his drink on.

Hugh B. Hayve, that’s the problem with most of our brew pubs, they produce small quantities, so even though some of them bottle beer, most only produce enough to sell in their own pub. But, think of the vacation possibilities. I live in a small city, but we have enough brew pubs to keep you content for a good couple of days in out city alone.

…and coltish 1, I’ll meet you at either Boundary Bay Brew Pub, or The North Fork. I’m buying.
