Great day at the racetrack yesterday with my grandson, Lil Geek. Imagine, an impressed 13 year old. I don’t know how my son got them, but this was VIP trackside. Tent, with buffet, tables with tableclothes, endless libations, food, food, food, a motorhome with widescreen tv’ internet connections and seating on the roof to view the racing. WOW.

I have to take Lil Geek back again today for the Sprint Cup race, Shuckydarns.

I haven’t been this excited about racing since I rolled a car over turn 4 at Lake Geneva Raceway, landed on the wheels and still finished in the top10, Doc.

The best was my grandson actually not texting all day and watching what was going on.

    Good morning Tribe

Kab that’s not Doc’s nuclear coffee. It would have burned a hole through that flimsy cup, the table, the floor, and then it would have crawled off to China.

Things are ok here. Had a turn of luck. The tire on my car went flatter than a pancake. My spare was rotten and unusable. AAA inflated it Wednesday night, but I didn’t get paid until Friday…and Thursday night it was flat again. So I had it towed to my tire repair shop. Not K-Mart, not Wal-mart. I’ve used these guys since we moved here in ‘99 and they always do me right. Anyway, the tow was $18 (not bad for 9 miles) and they repaired the tire. I didn’t have to buy new tire(s). Whoo Hoo!

Taffy is doing fine, growing like a weed. She’s slowly learning not to bite my hand/arm. Right now she’s poking around my messy desk, looking for trouble. Oh, she’ll say she’s not doing anything….but she’s finding trouble.

Got to run for now. Making tacos for lunch….* Tribe * share will be on the table/counter. Don’t make too big of a mess with the fixings bar, *Hy has done a good job cleaning.

Hello everyone. Went to county fair. Different vendors and for a change no rain. There was someone advertising limo service and not smaller one’s either but big SUV one cost big $$$ seats 23, he never over books. Also had a limo bus looks like a city bus. There where, I didn’t count, cost to 5 or 6 there for a smoke barbeque cook off. At 5pm. $5 lets one test and rate. Quaby sorry I didn’t match Doc T famous nuclear coffee, but when it comes to breakfast isn’t there a humongous variety? Why not a variety in coffee?

I corrected what I said I know one cannot be open and mistyped. Even on Gocomics anywhere on these strips I don’t give out too much. Except what I might give out. And please I was not asking you to give out your location that needs to remain secret. I do know this is very open. That is why I’m not sure of facebook or twitter.

I hope you don’t live in the area that flood’s though. City, part where I live, maintain a drainage canal. Hard for me to have a window open because of road traffic. There are a few in this area leads to Big ditch. As for others on this site I hope your homes doesn’t flood when major rain happens. Out here it does happen and certain streets in around town are high pron to flooding.

I notice though for most jobs including medical, more technology, medical is heading away from paper-files on computer. Wish my boss let me on some changes, though I’m the only one doing Onbase scanning, gets tedious. That is where higher learning and degree’s would come in handy if I could pass. Can’t do anything about faster typing speed like 70+

I havn’t had any flood problems but need to have a good sump pump when the water table rises! Street flooding is a problem all over town and sometimes you need to learn what are the safe routes to take at times.

Oh I do, I almost got caugth in one had to turn around. I go by what weatherman say turn around and don’t drown. And with city having budget problems, I don’t work there came close then I would have been the 100 got laid off, when they can maintain streets. Now have to watch out for streets that break due to heat.

Kab, it probably came out wrong…I was trying to imply you had been ‘sold’ fake Doc’s Nuclear Coffee. You would never pawn off inferior stuff on the Tribe

Other than that, waiting for Doctor Who to come on.

Thanks Quaby - The shows I saw were a long time ago by BBC. It and their Hitchhikers Guide etc, were fun to watch due to their old special effects!

Doctor Toon - A few years ago I sat on the ground several hours in an odd position watching the air show at Oshkosh, Wisconsin and took several days to recover from it! I would hate to have problems at movie theaters etc.

Hi, tribe! Found this in my archives: ~Joke Warning~ Two new chemical elements have recently been discovered. Here for the first time is a description of their properties. Element Name: WOMAN Symbol: WO Atomic Weight: (Don’t even go there!) Physical Properties: General round in form. Boils at nothing and may freeze any time. Melts whenever treated properly. Very bitter if not used well. Chemical Properties: Very active. Highly unstable. Possesses strong affinity to gold, silver, platinum, and precious stones. Violent when left alone. Able to absorb great amounts of exotic food. Turns slightly green when placed next to a better specimen. Usage: Highly ornamental. An extremely good catalyst for dispersion of wealth. Probably the most powerful income reducing agent known. Caution: Highly explosive in inexperienced hands.

    ~Joke Continued~

Element Name: MAN Symbol: XY Atomic Weight: (180 +/- 50)

Physical Properties: Solid at room temperature, but gets bent out of shape easily. Fairly dense and sometimes flaky. Difficult to find a pure sample. Due to rust, aging samples are unable to conduct electricity as easily as young samples. Chemical Properties: Attempts to bond with WO any chance it can get. Also tends to form strong bonds with itself. Becomes explosive with mixed with Kd (Element: Child) for prolonged period of time. Neutralize by saturating with alcohol. Usage: None known. Possibly good methane source. Good samples are able to produce large quantities on command. Caution: In the absence of WO, this element rapidly decomposes and begins to smell.

Good evening everyone this day went to fast. Quaby I was just offering a little variety, or is that against the rules. I would never replace Doc T most famous nuclear strong coffee. Ones who do breakfast offer a humongous variety I thought why not coffee variety and have a little fun. But if this bothers some I will desists. Me I like a variety get tired of same old thing.
