I can’t believe Wichita supertendent called off school today. I know its 2° out but kids can bundle up. So far this year I believe missed 6 or 7 days total. I wonder if spring break will be canceled or by canceling so much school helped on the budget. Kids have to be real bored.

I looked our news for school closing and majority have resumed classes. I just can’t believe Wichita canceled classes. I heard until this happens may not have spring break. Kids need education more then being home driving parents nuts. On that local station of school closing parents sent in opinion on this mixed reviews. So think another town west of Wichita should have cancelled class. When I went there was class. I remember when working we had icy streets kids sliding and there was class. Since then have been different superintendents. For here and around there has been enough traffic snow has been tramped down. Out in the fields where farmers work looks like very little snow.

Doctor Toon I have you beat. I have hundreds of unread books. in three areas of the house and box in car. I was at one place and did not have anything to read this is when kids were younger and at Best Buy, to say the kids were enjoying themselves I was bored. After that I kept books with me. Then our family went to AR took this one hwy several vehicles broke down abandoned not sure for how long. One stands out in my mind a truck with hood up with owner by it with a lawn chair and a big book he was reading at the time. I thought wow to use that big book must be expecting to stay a long time stranded.

So, I’m trying to read books that I’ve had on my shelves, but never got around to reading. Started a book last night called True Tales of Old-Time Kansas. Greetings TRIBE.

FINALLY!!!! The cold has broken if only temporarily. It is almost livable around here. It is a good thing it warmed up a bit. Our furnace developed a leak yesterday and we had to shut it down. I wouldn’t have wanted to do that when it was -40*. It is a very old water boiler type [installed when the dinosaurs were here, I’m sure]. We tried to fix it and I sure hope it holds. It will cost way more than we have to replace it.

I’m very annoyed at my dog right now. She is only a puppy and of course has to chew anything she can get at. She dragged some books off the table. Most of them she just scattered around but one she HAD to tear up. Naturally it had to be a hard cover. They were all library books so I had to pay for it. It was the kind of book that I wanted to read but not the kind I wanted to add to my books. It’s not torn so badly it can’t be read, but no good for the library.

All the years I was going to school and couldn’t get the dog to eat my homework, and now I have one that damages a library book. Sheeesh!!! Can’t win.

Sorry about writing a book here but once I got started I couldn’t stop.

His are in bookshelves in the downstairs covering two walls…..my “keepers” cover just 4 shelves with some reference type books on another 2 shelves. Then he uses 3 short bookcases upstairs….but READING IS GOOD! Dusting is a bore!!

I pity my husband with the Steelers being in the Super Bowl this year. He’s from PA, but is for anyone against the Steelers, mostly because he doesn’t like the way the Steelers fans act when they win. Most years, that isn’t that big of a deal here in KS. But this year, there are 2 or 3 guys at his work who are rabid Steelers fans, and knows he’s from PA. They just don’t know he hates the Steelers.

Hello ♥Little Sister♥ hows class going? I won’t be up much longer here I’m getting tired. Time is 10:17pm. I noticed with my system since stoped pain pills months ago still using muscle relaxers that will be ending few months. I sleep better. Had one night for some reason not so. I like reading how some like reading books. I got a lot of mine from garage sales. Though lately had to stop people charged too much.

I am trying not to understand antecedent. Finally after being off for so many days Wichita is finally having school. Snow days used up.

Class was okay, though I’m not really in a good mood tonight.

    Sorry ♥Little Sister.

Kab If you know what a pronoun is, an antecedent comes before it and refers to it as in:

“Marsha went to the store. She wanted to buy bread.” Marsha is the antecedent of the pronoun She. My husband says to look for the pronoun and see what comes before the pronoun that refers to the pronoun.

I am taking my sister for more tests tomorrow so will pop into bed. Good Night Kab and Little Sister. Rest well. Maybe it was just a mix up over the party.
