Good Morning, simpsonsfan. I think I’m feeling a little dehydrated after reading that menu.

I thinkk some alien race changed the timeline so that all that we could do is build better communications equipment and internet so that we’d be too busy talking to ourselves on smell phones and in-your-facebook. They don’t want to be yakking all day with us.

In honour of ze French, today’s menu is braised in a pound of butter.The aliens have us under quarantine to keep the temporal distortion waves localized, because some idiot is messing with time travel & screwing up the time lines.

Since we’ve just had a lovely thunderstorm, there’s lots of water here. Thus, I’ll have double servings of everything except Tang, please. That stuff is an excrescence , an abomination with a vaguely Rumsfeldian taste. May I also try the DTWFNC, Charm flavour? It can’t be any worse than the last cup I tried, 27 years ago. And it might be better. :)

The oatmeal bars won’t need rehydrating; they’ll just wash down with water or Nuclear Coffee. Or tea, or milk, or any other tasty fluid.Time for this intrepid wanderer to wander off to dreamland. Good night everyone, and belated congratulations to Little Sister and her Little Hitchhiker.

The French, or some of them, serve a coffee which is indistinguishable from Turkish coffee. I’ll have a wee dram of that. I’ll also try some of those baugettes with butter and honey.

bmonk – It is still plenty hot here! Right now, my neighborhood weather station is reading 93.8°F with 52% humidity. Just a very light breeze, no more than 7mph. I sure don’t envy the guys replacing the siding on our house. They’re working on the north side of the house, so they’re not catching any of the breeze.

Kab – I really dislike having to use a different computer too. I hope your mom’s surgery will go well.

Well, SRMom, I do commiserate with you—and the siding workers.Yesterday, we had temps in the 90s with 85-90% humidity. Which is why we had fog in the morning until it got up to 77° or so.

Good. I just got home. The worst of the work week is over.

Short work week next week.

My tests today went well and once again I am no worse off than the last time. So my week has been good so far!

Is it that hot in Chi-town? It was only about 96 today….plus humdidity.

Good news on the tests.

So far the high here in the suburbs is 99° with the “feel like” temp of 108°!:^(

I don’t think the temperature got up as high as it could have because of the showers we’ve had today. It kind of cooled things off a bit. But yesterday was in the mid 80’s with the cloud cover & rain we had most of the day.

What is this ‘humidity’ thing you people talk of? It is either raining or it isn’t… Bmonk if you have fans set them up outside, it helps things cool down much faster. Oh…… ummmm …… stick the fans about 2-3 feet from a window or doorway and aim the breeze inside.

Good news ♠Lonewolf♠! it got to 105° today but thait’s less than the forcast is for the next few days.

Hello all. Sorry for the date of Wednesday. Her preop is tomorrow on Thursday am. Her personal doctor faxed over her lab results and CT+MRI results to surgeon doing procedure next week. My mom is so worried. I am trying to keep her calm down. After she recovers enough from surgery see’s both doctor’s to see if treatment starts or if the cancer and GYN can get all 10% cancer out. Thanks for your wishes and hugs. My own mom is stressing me out by constant calls. We are all so ready to get this surgery done. Then we have to assist on her recovery time.
