My two cats never come up onto my lap at the same time, but tha day my husband died, they were both on my lap the minute I sat down, and stayed there for hours.

They say that petting a cat lowers blood pressure, reduces heart rate and decreases anxiety. It’s also good for the person doing the petting. :)
