    My late Husband had MS. We were gifted a Crapmatic, before we got a real hospital bed. That bed actually did that to him. Thankfully (because it was a small town), we got the fire dept. over to rescue him.

    The old TV show St. Elsewhere had an episode in which a patient named Mrs. Hufnagel was killed when her hospital bed closed up around her.

    “Sleep Number” only affects the firmness of the mattress, not its position. I don’t even own a mattress and I know that.
