Dishwashers are a trigger for me. I bought an LG three years ago. The motor broke (ten year warranty) and I’ve been trying to get LG to honor their warranty and replace that part. It’s been six months now.
When I ordered my first car, the salesman told me I couldn’t get a manual (1972). I walked him over to a display car and pointed out “Standard: 4-spd manual” and said I wanted his refusal in writing. He backpedaled. More balking on the radio, so I moved over to another person’s desk. Six weeks later, I came to pick it up and he apologized. He had five people try to buy it off the lot – because it had a manual.
I found out the convection oven in my microwave was improperly calibrated when I bought it. It took months of putting food back in for MUCH longer than recipe times before I bought an oven thermometer. It was low by 75 degrees!
It’s under warranty but because it is a countertop appliance, they will not send someone to re-calibrate the oven. I have to buy another oven and they will reimburse me in a few months.
Because I am disabled, I had to have the microwave oven “installed”. I am NOT going to be reimbursed for another installation NOR for the cost of hauling away the old microwave. No more GE for me.

At least she’s honest. It probably is a soul-sucking job.
