I guess I’m here by myself. I spent the day getting my taxes done and getting a new crown. Worst April Fools Day ever! But this is cool, with the ad at the bottom.
I was working – accountant. Lost the day on Saturday the 30th as we had a small birthday party for my mom – she turned 95 on Sunday the 31st! (My sister set it up for Saturday as she was concerned Sunday would be too busy at the nursing home due to Easter.)
GG – I am working on tax returns for the few clients I have left and as my husband always like to remind me – I have to do our return and that for our craft business also.
My husband gets upset as I charge one client $10 for her tax return. She does not file a Federal return as not needed. She only files the state return as she can get an amount for low income seniors so I can’t charge much for the return or it makes no sense for her to bother filing. I point out to husband that when I was 10 years old and my dad had me adding up payroll books for his clients for him – one of the ones I did was for her father’s business! With a relationship between the two families that old – I am fine charging a minimum amount which covers costs for her to get some more money.
