Fellow Baby, I have both high cholesterol & high blood pressure, so do do have to be careful in the foods I eat. But I do allow myself things like bacon & eggs every once in a while.

Salt is something I usually stay away from except when eating cellery or radishes or green onions.

Time for an early morning snack. maybe some salted pecans.

Think I’ll just shuffle across the carpet and pet the cat.

Morning CDers, and remember to observe all ESD safeguards.

@Grog Love the “Thin Man” movies. Great shots of San Francisco and Nora (Myrna Loy) is petty fetching in her nightie too

I too love The “Thin Man” series and all of the other pairings that Myrna Loy and William Powell had. They played off of each other so well. I also am happy that in real life they both lived to be very old.

Good Morning Grog, Dry, sugie and the rest of the Sunday CD bunch!

Salted pecans, Fellow Baby? Deathly allergic to pecans, any tree nut, but salted almonds and peanuts, can’t get enough of those!

Cuddles my dear, go inside before you get a lightning bolt!

Good morning Fellow Baby, cleo and sugie!

What cleo said! Maureen O’Hara and Brian Keith in the Parent Trap were like that also, and Maureen O’Hara and John Wayne as well.

Yes, I, too, loved the chemistry between Dick & Myrna, whether Thin Man movies or not.

I agree with you, Fellow Baby on the those pairings, but I’d also have to include Bacall & Bogart. I also liked Davis & Cagney in The Bride Came C.O.D. but I believe that was the only time they were paired together. Who ever thought those 2 together could pull off a romantic comedy? Not me.

Fortunately, I don’t have your problem when it comes to nuts, Fellow Baby. I can’t stand almonds and I’ll only eat peanuts when there’s nothing better available. It’s also the reason why I won’t buy mixed nuts. There’s more almonds & peanuts than any of the good stuff.

Hepburn and Tracy were very special as were Bacall and Bogart. I loved the chemistry between these couples.
