If you get rid of canines,the cats will nolonger have anything to taunt.

I don’t understand the “contradiction”. Cats are obligate carnivores. Humans are omnivores, most of whom eat meat. What’s the contradiction of a meat-eater having another meat-eater as a pet?

I don’t think Doris would agree with that solution.
