These were funnier when James Caan was actually still alive.

I wonder if some other cartoonist will do a “Ghost of Ruben Bolling” series. And if he’ll keep it up after Ruben is dead.

Yes, I know that “Ruben Bolling” is a pseudonym, but pseudonymous cartoonists can have pseudonymous ghosts.

Isn’t / Wasn’t James Caan a pseudonym, too?

I wish Caan would stop using his ghost to do his grunt work. Do I use Carl Yastrzemski’s ghost to remind my kids to make sure the lawn mower has gas?

James Caan has died since this strip came out.
