On the positive side, the teacher will either stop using words she can’t spell, will become a better speller, or will call Zoe’s parents when she has a complaint about Zoe,
What child would actually give parents a note from the teacher at home? I’m a teacher. I’d never send my student a note home. I’d call, text or email. Direct communication. Giving a note that they can read can easily be “ gone missing or lost” and parents remain in the dark and teacher assume the parents don’t care.
Apparently that teacher has too much free time on her hands, sending a note home filled with yesterday’s news. Everyone already knows Zoe is bossy and pretentious.
I have two memories where I was able to get a Teacher to change an answer that he marked wrong on my paper. And, impressively, both announced to the Class that anyone who got those questions wrong would have them reversed. The first was a statement like “Children are gullible. TRUE / FALSE.” I marked “FALSE” (I’m not gullible!). When I explained this to him, he realized what he’d done and reversed it. The Second was a College Computer Assembly-Language Programming Refresher Course my Work sent me to. The question was what was the “XOR” Command used for. Apparently, we were using it in a way he didn’t realize it could be used, but a perfectly valid way. Again, he announced that anyone who had that marked wrong would have it changed.
Teachers do not send notes home with parents. That is why the school has an email address of parents. I don’t know any teachers that send notes home with parents. At least none of my children’s teachers.

Looks like Zoe has the potential to be an editor. Too bad they’re not as much in demand as in the past, at least in some newspapers.

Hmm, guess where she learned that! That’s how the teacher’s critiquing looks to her!

Corrected the spelling? More like Zoe corrected the verbiage to her liking.

She may not use the name much anymore, but Zoe is still Princess High ’n Mighty Big Shot Boss of the World.

This is prior the internet days when causing the child to hand carry the teachers note was really part of the punishment.

Being pretentious is acting beyond your abilities but if she really corrected the teacher’s spelling then maybe she isn’t pretentious.

If Hammie did something like this the commenters would be slamming him and calling him out.

Take it back to the teacher and make her correct it.
