    Angel Eyes, in “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly”, carries a Remington Army, a powder-and-ball revolver. Why is he wearing a belt full of metal cartridges??? The answer is simple, you have to look good to do evil! :D

    those cowboys didn’t need to carry around their guns and ammo in the desert heat.

    when the director says ‘cut’, they can take them off and relax in their air-conditioned trailers

    Also, they made sure their pistol’s bullets matched the caliber of their carbine rifle. No need to carry different types of ammo. The exception of course would be for the shotgun.

    I still watch old western movies with my dad. Some are pretty bad. He told me once, if it got horses it, it can’t be that bad. We say that for every one we watch now.
